An Adult Summer Reading challenge!
Participants of the Adult Summer Reading Club are invited to the “Then and now art challenge!” Each week, you will receive an email with a historical image of a Brampton landmark, provided by PAMA archives. Then, on your own time, you’ll be challenged to take an updated photo of, draw a sketch of, paint a picture of, or artistically capture in your own way, this historical Brampton location. Once you have completed your photo, sketch, painting, or artistic capturing, send it to src@bramlib.on.ca or reply to the weekly email with the image attached. You will earn an extra ballot in the next bi-weekly prize draw, and the best art submission of the week will earn an extra ballot in a grand prize draw!
By registering for this program, participants agree to receive weekly emails from Brampton Library between 10-11AM, every Thursday for an eight-week period. The emails will include a historical picture. This program does not meet live, but simply consists of a series of emails and email correspondence.
