This quarterly virtual book club explores books about science and technology's impact on our society. Join us to discuss compelling and thought-provoking non-fiction titles.
This quarterly virtual book club is for adult readers who are interested in how science and technology impacts our society.
Our inaugural book selection is You Look Like a Thing and I Love You: How Artificial Intelligence Works and Why It's Making the World a Weirder Place.
Join us over Zoom to discuss this accessible and entertaining book about artificial intelligence and machine learning from the author of the popular blog, AI Weirdness.
Upon registration, a hold will be automatically placed on the current book of the month for you while quantities last (a Brampton Library card is required). If registration is full please add your name to the waitlist. You will still be able to join in on the discussion but will need to find your own copy of the book.
Accessible formats are available here. To learn more about registering for CELA, please see our Accessible collections.
