Literature and visual arts connect in this distinctive book club.
Join Brampton Library and PAMA for a discussion of the book The Friday Night Club by Sofia Lundberg, Alyson Richman and M.J. Rose. This novel features Swedish artist Hilma af Klint, who was inspired by her mystic visions, and her creative circle. The book discussion will be paired with a tour of the exhibition Abstract Art in Canada from PAMA’s Collection, which features works by leading artists who helped shape the Modern era of art making in Canada. Registration is required with Brampton Library.
Registrants can pick up a copy of the book at the Four Corners branch.
