with Suzan Palumbo
Thursday, March 19
4:00pm - 9:00pm
Appointments are one hour and must be booked in advance. Email events@bramptonlibrary.ca to secure your spot.
Co-presented by the Brampton Arts Organization, Brampton Library, and the FOLD, the Brampton Writer in Residence initiative supports writers by fostering connections between authors and the community. Local author and 2026 Writer in Residence Suzan Palumbo is available to meet at Mount Pleasant Village Branch Library with aspiring writers to review and edit their work, and offer guidance about the writing and publishing industry.
Writers of all skill levels are welcome to submit up to ten pages of adult fiction for review. During consultations writers will have the opportunity to discuss plotting, characterization, and technical aspects of prose as well as the publishing process. No question will be considered too beginner or advanced and those who are new to writing or have been previously published are welcome to book an appointment.
To schedule a one-on-one consultation, please email events@bramptonlibrary with the following details:
- Up to 10 pages of adult fiction writing
- Two to three sentences outlining what you’d like to discuss or focus on
- Your preferred date and time (please note: Suzan is available Tuesday mornings between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Thursday evenings from 4 – 9 p.m.)
- Appointments are one hour in-person and must be booked in advance. Email events@bramptonlibrary.ca to inquire about virtual options.
