Phillip Mohabir
Phillip is the CEO of Vivo Surgery, a Toronto-based company revolutionizing surgical training and patient care. By pioneering remote clinical placements during live patient cases, he has positioned Vivo Surgery as a leader in advancing surgical education for the next generation of surgical professionals and improving patient outcomes. Before founding Vivo Surgery, Phillip oversaw global expansion at IMAX, where he managed operations in 85 countries. He subsequently advanced into FP&A and Investor Relations, acquiring deeper expertise in financial strategy and stakeholder management. Phillip earned an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto - graduating as a Bregman Scholar for achieving the highest academic standing. He also shares his expertise with programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, consulting on First Principles Thinking, and Power Dynamics.
Tom Oommen
Tom is the founder of NeuraSpeech Technologies and SOAPAI, and co-founder of 3Blocks. With over 16 years in IT and experience at multinational companies, he has also filed an Invention Disclosure with the European Patent Office via Siemens AG. Tom focuses on revolutionizing clinical management platforms in the field of speech therapy, bridging the gap between professional and consumer healthcare innovations, and creating efficient, user-centric solutions.
Tauseef Riaz
Tauseef Riaz is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder and COO/CTO of ConsidraCare, a Brampton-based age-tech startup he founded with his wife Saba, an international physician, to address the growing global need for senior care. He is also the co-founder of Mashkraft, a digital studio, and Stock Target Advisor, a fintech startup. Tauseef actively mentors entrepreneurs at BHive, TBDC, and Founder’s Institute, and serves on the board of Spark Centre, the innovation hub for the Durham region. As an Industrial Technology Advisor for NRC-IRAP, he has supported and funded 100+tech startups across Canada. With over 25 years of experience, Tauseef has held C-level positions in global tech companies, managed over $5B in investments, and created 12+ ventures worldwide. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, is an electrical engineer, and a CFA charter holder.
