Literature and visual arts connect in this distinctive book club. Join Brampton Library and PAMA for a discussion of the book Chemical Valley by David Huebert. From city-dwelling preppers to long-term care nurses, and dishwashers to professional hockey enforcers to refinery workers, Chemical Valley’s caring and carefully-wrought stories cultivate rich human emotional worlds in all the darkness of our bio-chemical animacy. Plus – take a tour of the exhibition In Her Garden: Amanda McCavour and Jannick Deslauriers, a two-in-one exhibition of immersive art installations. One is a botanical garden and the other is a dystopian world.
