Celebrate International Day of Peoples with Disabilities by viewing the work of local autistic youth!
Visit our Chinguacousy branch between Saturday November 26 and Saturday December 1, to view an art showcase featuring the work of local autistic youth who have participated in our Express Yourself program. “Express Yourself” is a program for autistic youth to explore different outlets that transform self-expression. In partnership with Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA) and Autism Ontario (AO), we have worked to provide access to various expressive means such as maker technology, watercolour painting, stand-up comedy, memoir writing, and comic creation. The works that stem from these means will be placed on display for the public to view and on December 3 between 2-4 p.m. you will have a chance to meet the creative youth responsible.
