Participants can learn about traditional beading practices from Afro-Indigenous bead artist Wenzdae Anaïs. Daughter of writer Cherie Dimaline of the Georgian Bay Métis Nation, Wenzdae has mentored under community experts in fine arts and traditional bead work. In addition to sharing her beading and entrepreneurial expertise, Wenzdae will walk participants through a small beading project.
