Join us and other makers for a virtual meetup where we share ideas, inspire and encourage each other, and highlight the things we make.
Tuesday, January 18: Recycle! Refurbish! Repurpose! At this month’s Virtual Maker Meetup we're highlighting creative upcycling ideas and sharing sustainable consumption practices that we as makers can incorporate into our projects. Plus, maker show-n-tell. Come show us what you’re working on!
About Virtual Maker Meetups
The Brampton Library makerspaces are closed right now, but you can still make at home!
Need some inspiration for your next project? Need advice on how to finish a work in progress? Maybe you have a completed project you’d like to share? Join us and other makers for a casual virtual meetup where we share ideas, inspire and encourage each other, and highlight the things we make. This is a space to work together, learn, and motivate each other to finish projects, so collaboration between attendees is encouraged. No experience required - we are all makers!
All types of high and low tech projects are welcome, such as:
Arts and crafts
3D printing & modeling
Woodworking
Digital creations
Arduino/Raspberry Pi
If there is a particular technology, craft, or project of interest you’d like to share or hear about, contact makerspace@bramptonlibrary.ca
