Help to bridge the digital divide! Brampton Library in partnership with Let’s Get Together is hosting tech collect drives outside our Gore Meadows and Cyril Clark branches.
Saturday, September 24, 10AM-2PM at Gore Meadows
Saturday, October 2, 10AM-2PM at Cyril Clark
Drive up and drop off your used, broken, and unwanted laptops; cell phones; and other electronic devices. Donations will be safely recycled or refurbished and circulated back to the community to support individuals and families in need.
There will also be a metal e-waste bin to collect other unwanted indoor/outdoor household metal items that weigh 35lbs or less.
Data erase service will be provided for donated computers and a table will be set up to accept client applications.

UPDATE:
Renovations are scheduled to begin at Gore Meadows Branch on September 26, 2022 with an expected completion in 2023.
Service improvements will include:
- a reconfiguration of the library's front entrance
- a new program room featuring a makerspace
The branch will remain open for normal hours of operation. A temporary entrance and exit will be located to the left of the current entrance.
