Learn about 19th century stereographs – why these images were created and the effect they have had on images of South Asia today. Registration required.

How do we photograph our travels? What do we want to remember, and why? Take a close look at 19th century stereographs – photographs that produced a three-dimensional image when viewed through a stereoscope, discover why these images were created, and learn about the effect they have had on images of South Asia today. 

Presented in partnership with the Royal Ontario Museum. Registration required.
