JAYU’s iAM: Intro to Photography program invites equity-deserving youth aged 12-29 to share human rights and social justice stories and spread messages through the art of photography.
JAYU is a Toronto-based charity dedicated to sharing human rights stories through the arts. In partnership with Brampton Library, JAYU’s iAM Intro to Photography program offers equity-deserving youth ages 12-29 free access to photography mentorship. This 8-week program is led by local artists. The program is meant to give youth a first look into how the arts can be used as a tool to tell human rights and social justice stories and to spread a message that matters to them. Food is provided at each session. If youth do not have access to a camera to use during the program, one will be provided.
