Make Some Pottery With Jasmine Canaviri. *Registration required.

Join Artist in Residence Jasmine Canaviri for the second half of the ceramic mug-making workshops! Learn the art of mug decoration: Add textures, and design patterns with slip to prepared mugs. Be a part of this creative journey and see your work displayed in the final exhibition! *No prerequisites are required to attend this session. *Registration required. 

Choose to paint your piece during Jasmine’s office hours or select a pre-made design.

About the Artist:

Jasmine Canaviri is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice engages with the love and labour that goes into textiles, ceramics, and the handmade as a way of self-healing and connecting to her community. She completed her Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at York University (2022) where she was a recipient of a Canada Graduate Scholarship. Currently, she is a Resident Artist at the Living Arts Centre and has completed an OAC Craft Projects grant in textile creations.
