Join Artist in Residence, Jasmine Canaviri, for exciting ceramic mug-making workshops! Learn how to hand-build a personalized ceramic mug, complete with unique details. Choose to come back and paint your piece during Jasmine’s office hours or select a pre-made design. Your creations will be a part of the final exhibition in the fall.
About the Artist:
Jasmine Canaviri is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice engages with the love and labour that goes into textiles, ceramics, and the handmade as a way of self-healing and connecting to her community. She completed her Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at York University (2022) where she was a recipient of a Canada Graduate Scholarship. Currently, she is a Resident Artist at the Living Arts Centre and has completed an OAC Craft Projects grant in textile creations.
